Samsung’s Galaxy M55 5G Smartphone Unveiled in Brazil; Might Launch Soon in India
Samsung, the South Korean consumer electronics maker, has unveiled its latest Galaxy M55 5G smartphone in the Brazilian market. The device will likely also be launching soon in the Indian market as well.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G – Announced in Brazil
The Galaxy M55 5G smartphone from Samsung is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, and it has the One UI 6.1 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The device is also offered with a RAM of 8GB and internal storage of 256GB. Also to add, a microSD card slot has also been given on the device as well.
For the display, the smartphone features an AMOLED display panel with a 6.7″ screen size, FHD+ resolution, 1000 nits brightness rate, and a 120Hz refresh rate support.
Coming to the camera, a 50MP front-facing camera is a notable spec of the device. At the rear, it also sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP OIS main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
Regarding the battery, a decently large battery of 5000 mAh is present within the device, and it supports a 25W fast charge feature via the USB type-C charging port.
Other specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, IP67 rated body, 163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8 mm dimension, and 180 gm weight.
About the price and availability, the 8GB/256GB storage model of the smartphone in Brazil is priced at BRL 2,999 (~ INR 45,000; USD 540). Two color choices are also available in the country and Brazilian customers will be able to purchase it in Dark Blue and Light Green colors.
To add, this newly launched Samsung Galaxy M55 5G smartphone may also be released soon in the Indian market too, and it is said to take place next month in April 2024.
