Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 to Launch Soon
Reports now reveal that Samsung is expected to launch its latest foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 on the 26th of July 2023 in South Korea at Seoul and ahead of its launch will also be showcasing the two devices at a Samsung Unpacked Event that as per the report is scheduled to take place on the 15th of the same month.
It will be the first time for Samsung to conduct such an event for unveiling its foldable device in its home market and previous unveiling events for Samsung’s foldable devices have only been held in the United States in New York and San Francisco.
Samsung usually unveils its foldable devices in the month of August but according to the report it is now said that the company will be launching it a month earlier. Apple will be launching its iPhone 15 series devices in September as the company usually does and Samsung’s move of launching the latest Galaxy Z series devices a month earlier can be taken as a strategy adopted to have an upper hand in its competition with Apple.
Samsung had already unveiled its flagship S23 series device earlier this year in the month of February and with the launch of the Galaxy Z series devices might be planning to take the competition forward.
However, it is also to be noted that Samsung hasn’t come forward with an official launch date yet and we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation from the brand to confirm its said launch date.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 devices have already been certified by China’s 3C certification authority and had also made their appearance on a benchmark, revealing that they will offer better performance. The renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 have also been shared and its OneUI 5.1.1 test builds were spotted on Samsung servers.
