Tecno Camon 30 Series Teased To Soon Launch In India

Tecno has teased the launch of Tecno Camon 30 series smartphones in India. The company has yet not confirmed the launch date in the teaser though it’s expected to make its debut in India this month.

Recently Tecno Mobile India shared a video on X that talks about the Sony and Tecno collaboration for its upcoming series. The video is dedicated to the Sony advanced imaging technology used in the Tecno Camon 30 series. This series smartphone features Sony’s high sensitivity image sensor IMX890, 1/1.56 large sensor size. Its sensor supports DOL-HDR and is capable of “quasi synchronous” multi-frame exposure output. The series comprises Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 3o Pro 5G, and Camon 30 Premier 5G. This series was first unveiled at MWC in Barcelona in February. An earlier listing on the BIS, rather hints that Tecno may launch the Tecno Camon 30 5G and Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G smartphone in India.

Specifications of Tecno Camon 30 series

The Tecno Camon 30 Premier and Pro smartphone are MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. The Tecno Camon 30 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset while Tecno Camon 30 4G gets MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2. In the camera department, the Premier and Pro get a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. The Tecno Camon 30 Premier also gets a 50MP periscope lens.

With the Tecno Camon 4G and 5G smartphone, you get to see a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 2MP depth unit, and an auxiliary sensor. The front side of the phone sports a 50MP shooter. The Premier version features a 6.77-inch FHD+ OLED LTPO display with 1,264 x 2,780p pixels resolution and 1,400 nits peak brightness while the rest of the models of the series features 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,080 x 2,436 pixels resolution.
