Tecno Pova 6 receives SIRIM certification before launch

In December, the Tecno Pova 6 series of smartphones was approved by the EEC authority in Europe. It revealed that the forthcoming Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo have the L17 and L16 model numbers, respectively. The Pova 6 Pro 5G, which is confirmed to be showcased at the MWC 2024 tech trade show later this month, is said to have the L19 model number. The standard and Pro variants received the Declaration of Conformity from Europe last week. In addition, the standard model has also appeared in the database of Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform, hinting that it may debut soon.

The SIRIM certification does not reveal anything new about the Pova 6 but it hints that Malaysia will be one of the markets that receives it. Previously, the said device was also spotted at Thailand’s NBTC certification.

The previously seen European Declaration of Conformity listing revealed that it will pack a 6,000mAh battery and may support 70W fast charging. The other specs of the Tecno Pova 6 are yet to be revealed.

The recent Play Console listing of the Pro model revealed that it may ship with an FHD+ display, Android 14 OS, 12 GB of RAM, and the Dimensity 6080 chipset. At present, there is no information available about the specifications of the Pova 6 Neo.

At the upcoming MWC 2024 event, Tecno will announce the Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra notebook. In addition, it will also announce its latest innovations, such as the Dynamic 1 intelligent dog, the Pocket Go Windows-based handheld gaming console, and the Tecno Phantom Ultimate concept model equipped with a rollable display.
