The Latest Apple iPhone 15 Series Smartphones Launched: Pre-Orders Starts in Two Days

The much awaited iPhone 15 series smartphones have been unveiled at the special Apple event – “Wonderlust” conducted recently. Four smartphone devices have been introduced and its pre-orders will start soon.

Apple iPhone 15 Series Launched

As mentioned and as expected, four smartphones which includes the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max devices have been launched in the series.

Speaking about the Pro models, both the devices feature a titanium frame and comes in four new titanium colors. The models are powered by the brand’s A17 Pro processor and will offer the next level gaming performance on the two devices.

Other features includes a 48MP main camera, next generation portraits, high resolution images, Ceramic Shield protection for its display, ProMotion(120Hz refresh rate), always-on display, Dynamic Island, Spatial Video, a customizable action button, Wi-Fi 6E support, and also a USB type-C charging port with USB 3 support. The Pro Max model also has a 5x zoom capability on its telephoto lens as well.

Now, coming to the standard models, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus smartphones have a textured matte finish design and comes in five new colors. The devices come equipped with the A16 Bionic chipset and has the Ceramic Shield protection. The most exciting thing is that, the standard models too now have the Dynamic Island feature.

A 48MP main camera, next generation portraits, 4K60 HDR video, optical-quality 2x telephoto zoom, precision finding, second generation ultra wideband chip, 2000 nits peak outdoor brightness rate, roadside assistance via satellite, an all day battery life, battery with 100% recycled cobalt, and the USB type-C charging port are some of their other features.

Price and Availability

The standard models – iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models, starts at price points of $799 and $899, whereas the Pro models have price points starting from $999 and $1,199, respectively. The pre-orders of the devices will start on the coming 15th of September, two days later, and it will be made available on the 22nd of September 2023, this month itself.

In the Indian market, the standard models are expected to be priced at Rs. 79,900(iPhone 15) and Rs. 89,900(iPhone 15 Plus). The Pro models on the other hand are likely to be priced Rs. 1,34,900(iPhone 15 Pro) and Rs. 1,59,900(iPhone 15 Pro Max), respectively.
