The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and the Motorola Edge 40 Devices Receives BIS Indian Certification

Two of the upcoming devices from Motorola, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and the Motorola Edge 40 devices have now received the BIS Indian certification.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and the Motorola Edge 40 are two of the smartphone devices from Motorola, waiting to have their launch and both devices have made their appearance on various certification platforms. Now the upcoming devices have also been listed on the BIS(Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website, confirming their launch in the Indian market.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has appeared on the certification website with the model number XT2321-1 and the Motorola Edge 40 has been listed with the model number XT2303-2.

No other details about the two devices have been revealed from its BIS listing.

Regarding the other certifications the two devices have received, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, which is also known as the Motorola Razr 40+ 2023, has by now received the 3C and CQC certifications from China, the TDRA certification, TUV Rheinland certification, and the Canadian REL certification. Recently the smartphone also made its appearance on Geekbench revealing some of its key specs.

From what is now known, the upcoming Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 chipset and will have the Android 13 operating system pre-loaded in it. It will also have an 8GB RAM variant.

Now coming to the other smartphone, the Motorola Edge 40 has now made its appearance on the TDRA and FCC certification platform and was also spotted on Geekbench.

The smartphone, based on its Geekbench appearance, is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset, but it is to note that previous reports had indicated the smartphone to arrive equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset.

It is also expected to feature a 6.55″ P-OLED display and is believed to have a dual camera setup on its rear with a 50MP OIS main camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera. On its front, the device is also to have a 32MP centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera.

Its FCC certification has also confirmed that the device will be equipped with a 4400 mAh battery and will support a 68.2W fast charge feature.

The renders of the smartphone in four different colors and its complete specs were also previously shared by us and the device is expected to arrive in Eclipse Black, Lunar Blue, Nebula Green, and Magenta color variants.
