Two upcoming HMD smartphones spotted on Geekbench database; key details revealed
Recently HMD Global revealed that it will be announcing its self-branded smartphones this year at MWC 2024. The render of an HMD smartphone was revealed a few days back while tipster Evan Blass shared the codenames of six models which were said to be in the first batch of HMD-branded handsets. The codenames were Pulse, Legend, Pulse+, Legend Plus, Pulse Pro and Legend Pro.
Among these six models, two models have been spotted on the Geekbench database by the names HMD Global Legend and HMD Global Legend Pro.
The device codename Legend has received 379 single-core scores and 1370 multi-core scores while the Legend Pro model received 373 single-core scores and 1384 multi-core scores. HMD Global Legend is revealed to arrive with 4GB RAM and HMD Global Legend Pro is revealed to arrive with 8GB RAM.
The devices will be running on an octa-core chipset with a max clock speed of 1.61GHz. This chipset is expected to be the Unisoc T606 chipset. Both the devices will be running on Android 14 OS. Other than this not much is known regarding the upcoming HMD smartphones yet but we might come across a few more details regarding the devices in the coming days.
Apart from this HMD official website and social media handles were also made live at the beginning of this month. It is said that the company will be revealing updates regarding its future products through these online portals only.
