iPhone 15 Pro Max CAD renders revealed
The biggest change which could be seen from the image is at the bottom edge which is the USB Type-C port. As the earlier models arrived with Apple’s Lightning port. The left side of the device showcases capacitive solid-state buttons for both the volume button and the mute switch.
As it appears from the image, the front side of the smartphone will have a pill+hole cutout on the top. There could also be seen some weird objects on top of the smartphone which are not stuck to it which according to the tipster is the conductive padding for buttons that will be fused in phone cases that will help to receive full gestures or actions/ sensitivity. iPhone 15 Pro Max was revealed to arrive with a conjoined volume button with the old mute switch which will not be the case with iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
In the follow-up thread, the tipster mentioned that reportedly Apple is testing software for changing volume between two gestures swipe or press. He also shared about few possibilities with which solid-state buttons could work :
- Volume goes up/down faster depending on the amount of force pressed on each respective capacitive button
- Volume can be controlled by swiping/sliding a finger up or down on the volume capacitive rocker.
Though these are just the possibilities and we still need to see which method will make it to iOS production since the 3D touch buttons are definite these methods can be taken into consideration.
From the image, the camera bump on the back side was also seen which showcased a triple rear camera setup. A few of the measurements are also shared which could turn out to be accurate. The smartphone will debut with a dimension of 159.86 x 77.58 x 8.25 mm. The thickness of the device was said to be 12.02mm including the camera bump. The measurement of the camera lens was said to be 13 mm.
