Upcoming OnePlus 12R Smartphone Receives Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification
The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, OnePlus, is expected to launch the rebranded version of the Ace 3 device – the OnePlus 12R smartphone next month globally, and ahead of which, the upcoming smartphone has now been spotted on the SIRIM certification platform of Malaysia.

OnePlus 12R – SIRIM Certification
The OnePlus 12R smartphone has been certified by the SIRIM authority with the type approval code RGQL/96F/1223/S(23-5570), and has appeared on the database with the model number – “CPH2609”. Its SIRIM certification will be valid till the 11th of December 2026.
Previously, the smartphone received the IMDA and the CQC certifications as well. The CQC certification had also confirmed that the device will support a 100W wired fast charging feature too.

OnePlus 12R – Expected Specifications
OnePlus’ 12R flagship is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and will probably run on the Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 custom skin.
The smartphone is also said to feature an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.7″. The display might also have a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
For its cameras, the device may sport a triple camera unit at its rear with a 50MP OIS main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP telephoto camera. A 16MP front-facing camera is also expected on the device.
Regarding the battery, the smartphone is likely to pack a 54oo mAh battery backup. As mentioned, the device will also support a 100W fast charge feature.
