Upcoming Redmi 12 Appears on IMEI Database Confirming its Moniker, Also Spotted on FCC and EEC Platforms
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi might soon launch yet another budget smartphone in the global market, the Redmi 12, and the smartphone has appeared on the IMEI database. The smartphone has also been spotted on the FCC and EEC certification platforms.

An upcoming budget smartphone from Xiaomi, the Redmi 12 has appeared on the IMEI database which has confirmed the moniker of the smartphone along with its model number. The smartphone has appeared on the database with model number 23053RN02L.
The smartphone will also be having another variant with a model number of 23053RN02Y, and the device has been spotted on the FCC certification platform with this model number
To add to this, the smartphone has also made its appearance to the EEC certification platform as well, and has received the certification with the model number 23053RNo2Y, the same model number with which it had received the FCC certification.
From these certifications the device has received, some of the specifications of the smartphone has also been revealed. The upcoming Redmi 12 will be a budget smartphone and will be a 4G device. It will also support 2G, 3G and 4G network connectivity and will support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity as well.
Regarding the other details, from its listing, it has also turned out that the upcoming smartphone will have the MIUI 14 custom user interface out of the box and should probably be based on the Android 13 operating system.
The smartphone has also been tested with a charger having a model number of MDY-12-EA, indicating that the upcoming device will support a 33W fast charging feature. Considering all of Xiaomi’s previous budget smartphones, we can expect the Redmi 12 to come equipped with a 5000 mAh battery.
