Upcoming Redmi K70/POCO F6 Pro Specifications Tipped: Likely Launching Soon

Xiaomi might soon be launching the Redmi K70 smartphone in China, and its rebranded version – POCO F6 Pro in the global market. Ahead of its launch, the specifications of the smartphone have been tipped.

Here’s more about it.

Redmi K70/POCO F6 Pro – Specifications Tipped

The upcoming Redmi K70/POCO F6 Pro smartphone has been tipped to arrive equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is expected to have an IP68-rated body with a metal frame.

For its display, the smartphone might feature a 6.67″ flat display with a 2K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and high-frequency PWM dimming. The display is also likely to have ultra-narrow bezels without plastic brackets.

Coming to its cameras, the device may sport a 50MP OIS triple camera setup at its rear, with a telephoto lens having 2x/3x zoom capability.

Regarding its battery, as per what has been tipped, a 5500 mAh battery backup is expected on the device, along with a 100W+ fast charge feature. Previous updates have also suggested the lack of wireless charging capability on the K70 series devices.

To add, two days back, the Redmi K70 smartphone received the 3C certification from China and was listed along with a 90W charging adapter having a model of MDY-14-EC. The recent update is however pointing out that the smartphone might be supporting a 100W+ wired charging feature.

It should also be noted that previously it was said that the POCO F6 Pro smartphone was likely going to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Pro device, and was supposedly going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. So it is advised to take the above report with a pinch of salt.

The Redmi K70 series smartphones are also said to have the MIUI 15 custom user interface based on the Android 14 operating system and its test builds have been spotted. However, recently it was tipped that the MIUI 14 will be the last version of the brand’s MIUI custom skin and that Xiaomi’s 14 series smartphones would arrive featuring the brand’s own self-developed software – MiOS.

To get clarity about the matter and to know more about the upcoming Redmi K70 and the rebranded POCO F6 Pro smartphones, we will probably have to wait until more updates are revealed. There is also a chance that we may get to see the Redmi K70 smartphone having its debut next month, in November 2023, as hinted by its model number(2311DRK48C).
