Upcoming Vivo V2342 spotted with Vivo V30 Lite moniker, 80W fast charger
In December 2023, Vivo unveiled the Vivo V30 Lite 5G, equipped with the Snapdragon 695. The brand recently introduced the Vivo V30 5G, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Speculation suggests that the Vivo V30 Pro, featuring the Dimensity 9200 Plus, may be officially announced in Q1 2024. A recent development reveals that the lineup also includes another model, dubbed the Vivo V30 Lite, a 4G variant. The same device has also been approved by the CQC authority, which has seemingly revealed the fast charging capabilities of the device.
The above screengrab shows two listings for the Vivo V30 Lite. The one mentioned at the bottom has the V2327 model number and includes “5G” in its moniker. On the other hand, the one mentioned at the top has a different V2342 model number and seems to be a 4G offering.
Earlier this month, the same device was approved by the EEC authority, indicating a European launch soon. Additionally, Indonesia’s TKDN authority has also approved the device. Apart from these certifications, it has also appeared in CQC’s database, suggesting that it may ship with an 80W charger. If this turns out to be true, it could offer the fast charging seen on a 4G phone in recent times.
Unfortunately, there is no information available on the core specs of the Vivo V30 Lite (4G). There is a possibility that the phone may get rebranded as the Vivo Y100 4Gn in select markets.
