Vivo Pad 3, Pad 3 Pro display, chipset specifications leaked before launch
Vivo is expected to hold a major launch event in China in the first quarter of this year. The event is expected to see the arrival of the Vivo X Fold 3 series, the Vivo Pad 3 tablet, and the Vivo X100s smartphone. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed that the Pad 3 will have a higher version dubbed the Pad 3 Pro. The leaker also shared key details about the display and chipset of the Pad 3 series.
According to the leaker, the Vivo Pad 3 series will receive a comprehensive upgrade in departments like screen, performance, battery, and fast charging. He revealed that the Vivo Pad 3 will feature an LCD panel and be powered by a new Qualcomm chip with the SM8635 model number.
As per a previous leak from the tipster, the tablet will support a 2.8K resolution. As far as the chipset is concerned, while it is expected to launch in March, its final branding is yet to be revealed.
Coming to the Vivo Pad 3 Pro, its LCD panel will support a 3K resolution and draw power from the Dimensity 9300 chipset. As seen in the second image in this post, the tipster says in the comments section that the Pad 3 Pro will support 80W fast charging. On the other hand, he is unsure about the rapid charging capabilities of the Pad 3 but guesses that it offers 66W charging. To recall, a Vivo tablet with model number PA2473 was recently spotted with a 66W charger in the database of China’s 3C certification platform.
