Vivo Pad 3 to feature Dimensity 9300 chip
Vivo is expected to announce a couple of new products, such as the Vivo X Fold 3 series, Vivo X Flip 2, Vivo Pad 3, and Vivo X100 Ultra, in the first half of 2024. Recent reports have leaked a few details about these devices, except for the Pad 3 tablet. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to reveal the chip that will power the Pad 3.
To recall, the original Vivo Pad that debuted in 2022 came equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chip. The Pad 2, which was announced earlier this year, features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. According to DCS, the Vivo Pad 3 will feature the latest Dimensity 9300, which also powers the recently announced X100 and X100 Pro smartphones.
The tipster did not reveal any other information about Pad 3. This year, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO also launched the iQOO Pad tablet as a rebranded version of the Pad 2. Hence, it is likely that the successor edition of the iQOO Pad could be a rebadged version of the Vivo Pad 3.
A recent report claimed Vivo will announce the Vivo X100 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 onboard in April 2024 in China. It remains to be seen whether that brand will also announce the Pad 3, X Fold 3 lineup, and X Flip 2 alongside the X100 Ultra.
In related news, the brand is not done yet for this year for the Chinese market. It is speculated that the Vivo S18e, S18, and S18 Pro will be announced in December. As per reports, the Vivo S18 may feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, whereas the S18 Pro may arrive with the Dimensity 9200 onboard.
