Vivo S17 and S17 Pro spotted on MIIT certification, confirming that both the upcoming devices are 5G enabled devices

Vivo is expected to soon unveil the Vivo S17 series in the Chinese markets. The series is reported to include three smartphones- Vivo S17, Vivo S17 Pro, and Vivo S17e. Out of these three Vivo S17e has already been launched in the Chinese market. In the past few weeks, the S17, S17e, and S17 Pro models are spotted making their appearance on the internet revealing some of the other details about the three devices.

We have now spotted the two upcoming models in this series- S17 and S17 Pro on the MIIT certification website with model numbers V2283A and V2284A.

The website revealed that both smartphones will support NR NSA/NR SA/TD-LTE/LTE FDD/WCDMA/GSM network connectivity and will be 5G enabled devices. It was also revealed that the smartphones will run on Android OS but the version was still not mentioned on the database. Though as with other newly launched devices, this series is also expected to run on Android 13 OS.

Vivo S17 and S17 Pro: Specifications (expected)

Vivo S17 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 782G processor whereas the Pro model could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. Vivo S17 is expected to offer up to 12GB RAM and up to 256 GB internal storage whereas Vivo S17 Pro might offer up to 16GB RAM and up to 256 GB internal storage.

Vivo S17 might pack up a dual rear camera setup that includes 50MP primary camera and 12MP telephoto camera. The Pro model was previously revealed to pack up a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP portrait camera with center focus.

Both smartphones are expected to feature a 1.5k display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Also, both smartphones were earlier revealed by the 3C certification to support 80W fast charging.
