Vivo S17 Pro to feature 50MP Sony IMX766V primary camera with OIS support , other camera specifications revealed ahead of it’s launch

We recently informed you that Vivo V29 Lite has been spotted on the Google Play Console website and that the brand is planning to launch the V29 series in the global markets. Reportedly V29 series will be the rebranded version of the Vivo S17 series on which the brand is currently working and will soon release in the Chinese market. Vivo is expected to launch – Vivo S17, Vivo S17e, and Vivo S17 Pro smartphones under the upcoming S17 series.

The company has not made any official announcement regarding the launch date of this series but as per rumors the series could make its debut in the month of May or June. Ahead of its launch, the camera specifications of the S17 Pro have leaked online. As per a recent report by Gizmochina, the famous tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed this major information.

As per the tipster, Vivo S17 Pro is expected to sport a 50 MP Sony IMX766V primary camera with OIS support, an 8MP Ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait camera with center focus. While the tipster mentioning “S” in the comment section gives a hint that he might be talking about the S17 Pro device.

As far as the other specifications are concerned, no confirmed information is known but as per a few reports Vivo S17 Pro is expected to feature OLED curved edge display with a 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8200 processor which could be paired with 16GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage. The smartphone might support 80W charging.
