Vivo to launch three foldable phones in Q1 2024
Chinese smartphone brands are gradually launching more foldable phones each year. This year, Honor will become the first brand to launch three foldable phones. It has already launched the Honor Magic V2 and Magic V Purse in the Chinese market, and it will unveil the Magic Vs 2 this week. A new leak claims that Vivo will launch three foldable phones in the first quarter of 2024.
According to the tipster, Vivo will announce four devices in Q1 2024. These include the Vivo X100 Pro+ and foldable phones, such as the X Fold 3, X Fold 3 Pro, and X Flip 2.
Rumours are rife that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, featuring the upcoming Dimensity 9300, will debut in November of this year in China. The X100 Pro+, on the other hand, is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was recently found listed in the IMEI database with the V2337A model number. At present, it is not clear what sets the X Fold 3 and its Pro apart from each other. As the name implies, the Vivo X Flip 2 will be a vertically foldable phone that will replace the Vivo X Flip, which debuted earlier this year.
Vivo has launched a few foldable phones in the Chinese market, but none of them have been released globally. It remains to be seen whether any of the upcoming foldable phones will be released in markets outside of China.
