Vivo to officially release Origin OS 4 and Vivo X100 series at Vivo Developers conference scheduled on November 1, 2023
The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo was previously tipped to launch its latest flagship Vivo X100 series in the month of November. The upcoming series will consist of three smartphones- Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+ among which Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were expected to launch in November while the Vivo X100 Pro+ model might debut in the first quarter of 2024.
Much information has already been revealed about these upcoming smartphones due to previous leaks and reports and the series is finally set to make its debut next month. Vivo has officially announced that its Developers Conference 2023 will be held on November 1, 2023, and in this particular event, only the company will be introducing the Vivo X100 series.
This upcoming series is expected to run on Origin OS 4 based on Android 14 which will also be announced in this same event only.
Vivo X100 series: Specifications
From all the recent updates it is known that Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset while Vivo X100 Pro+ is said to arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that will likely be coupled with an LPDDR5x RAM and a UFS 4.0 internal storage.
Vivo X100 Pro+ is expected to sport a 6.78″ 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP(main)+50MP(ultrawide)+50MP(portrait)+200MP(periscope) quad camera setup, in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Vivo X100 Pro is suggested to feature a 50MP(main)+12MP(ultrawide)+64MP(periscope telephoto) triple rear camera setup. This device may also have satellite connectivity. Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 Pro+ were also tipped to support 50W wireless charging and arrive with IP68 rated body. The Vivo X100 global variant could be powered with Dimensity 8 series processor as revealed earlier.
