Vivo V2279A TENAA certified, specifications revealed
Last month, an upcoming Vivo phone with model number V2279A was spotted on Chinese certification platforms such as TENAA and 3C. While the TENAA appearance only revealed images of the phone, the 3C listing revealed its fast charging capabilities. Now, the TENAA listing of the phone has been updated with key specifications of the device.

As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo V2279A will feature a 6.64-inch LCD FHD+ display, which boasts a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Vivo V2779A is expected to come equipped with a powerful 2.2GHz octa-core, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 695.
The Vivo V2279A will be available in multiple RAM and storage options, including 6 GB, 8 GB, 12 GB, and 1 6GB of RAM, and 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of internal storage. The camera setup on the Vivo V2279A is expected to feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for high-quality selfies, while there will be a single 50-megapixel camera on the back.
The Vivo V2279A is set to offer a 5,000mAh battery. Its 3C certification has revealed that it may ship with an 18W charger. At a size of 164.05 x 76.17 x 8.07mm and weighing in at 190 grams, the Vivo V2279A is expected to be a sleek and lightweight device that is easy to carry around.
The final marketing name of the Vivo V2779A is not known yet. In all likelihood, it is likely to end up as a Y-series phone in the Chinese market.
