Vivo V2318A, V2312BA images appear in TENAA’s database

Two new Vivo phones with model numbers V2318A and V2312BA have emerged in the database of China’s TENAA certification platform. The images of both smartphones are now available at TENAA, but their specifications are yet to be revealed. Here is a look at both smartphones.

As can be seen above, the Vivo V2318A smartphone has a waterdrop-notch display on the front. The rear shell of the device has a dual-camera system along with an LED flash. It seems to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo V2312BA phone seems to feature a punch-hole display, and its rear shell has a black-coloured camera island, which houses a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup. It also appears to feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

At present, there is no information available on the specifications of both smartphones. In all likelihood, these devices are likely to launch as Y-branded phones in the Chinese market.

At the beginning of this month, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO launched the iQOO Z8 and Z8x. The Z8x has the V231A model number. The V2312BA phone with a Vivo logo on the back could be a rebranded version of the Z8x.

The Z8x has a 6.64-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1-powred phone ships with up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It has a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. The device runs on OriginOS 3.0-based Android 13.
