Vivo V30 Lite 4G launched with Snapdragon 685 4G processor, 80W fast charging
Vivo V30 Lite also known as Y100 4G has now been officially launched in Russia and Cambodia. If we follow the pattern here, Vivo launched the V30 Lite 5G smartphone in Mexico, and later on in Saudi Arabia.
To me, it feels like, Vivo is just launching phones with the same names and changing specs sometimes. It is rather confusing sometimes because a person who bought a V30 Lite 5G in India will have different specs than those in Saudi Arabia. But both have the same name.
Just like, when I reported that the Geekbench listing had an SD 685 4G processor but the Google Play Console showed an SD 680 4G processor. This V30 Lite 4G is launched now and comes equipped with an SD 685 4G processor, paired with Adreno 610 GPU. The screen is 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It also features a DT-Star2 Plus for glass protection. This is also IP54 certified, meaning dust and water-resistant.
Looking at the design, it may feel like a triple camera setup, but it comes with a dual camera setup of 50MP(EIS) + 2MP, and for selfies, it features an 8MP sensor. Just like we reported it may come with an 80W charger, the specs revealed are the same. It comes with a typical 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
In terms of connectivity, you get a LTE network band but with no NFC support. You also get dual sim support and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
For the colour options, you will get Crystal Green and Crystal Black. The green colour of this smartphone is slightly heavier 188gms than the black colour which is 186gms.
Coming to the pricing part, it is priced at 24,999 RUR for the 8GB+128GB variant in the Russian market. But in Cambodia, it comes with a slightly better storage of 256GB and is priced at $299.
