Vivo X Fold 3 Pro again tipped to feature telephoto camera, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, 50W wireless charging
Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X Fold 3 series of foldable phones in the first quarter of this year. The latest Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the Vivo X Fold 3 series will be a major upgrade over the Vivo X Fold 2, which debuted in April 2023.
Vivo X Fold 3 series key specifications
The tipster reiterated previously known details that the Vivo X Fold 3 has the model number V2303A, while the Pro version is identified by the model number V2337A. In comparison to the previous generation, the X Fold 3 will feature upgraded screen resolution, larger batteries, and a 50-megapixel main camera. Additionally, both devices will have a lightweight form factor with reduced weight compared to their predecessors.
The leak suggests that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will exclusively feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, 50W wireless charging, and likely a telephoto camera, possibly equipped with a periscope lens. In other words, these features are unlikely to be available on the standard X Fold 3.
According to reports, the Vivo X Fold 3 may feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5,600mAh battery. It is speculated to arrive as one of the most affordable foldable phones on the Chinese market. On the other hand, the X Fold 3 Pro is likely to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and a 5,700mAh battery.
