Vivo X Fold 3, X Fold 3 Pro battery specifications leaked, launch imminent
Vivo is reportedly working on the Vivo X Fold 3 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. Reports have revealed that the X Fold 3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, whereas the X Fold 3 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared the battery specifications of two upcoming foldable phones. It appears that the leaker could be talking about the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro.
Based on what DCS said on Weibo, the X Fold 3 will have a pair of 2730mAh batteries (model numbers: BA20 / BA21), offering a rated value of 5,460mAh. On the other hand, the X Fold 3 Pro will have a pair of 2,775mAh batteries (model numbers: BA35 / BA36), delivering a rated value of 5,550mAh.
Hence, it appears that the typical value of the batteries for the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro could be 5,600mAh and 5,700mAh. As per reports, the X Fold 3 may support 80W or 100W wired charging, but it will lack support for wireless charging.
On the other hand, the Vivo X Fold 3 will offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Reports have also revealed that the Pro variant will have a foldable screen that supports LTPO 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution, and its rear camera setup will have an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The inner and outer displays of the Pro model will be equipped with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The X Fold 3 will lack features like an in-display fingerprint scanner and a periscope camera.
