Vivo X100 series commercial released, reveals design, colour options
Vivo took to Weibo to release a commercial for the Vivo X100 series, which is set to debut on Nov. 13 in China. The ad gives a good look at the design of the X100 series. In addition, it has also revealed the colour variants of the lineup.
At the end of the above commercial, it mentions the key features of the Vivo X100 series, such as the Zeiss APO super-telephoto lens, Dimensity 9300 chipset, Blue OS, Dimensity 9300 chipset, and 5,400mAh battery. The video clip also confirms that the Vivo X100 series will come in four colors, such as black, white, blue, and orange.
The Vivo X100 is already up for reservations through Vivo China’s website as well as retailers like JD.com and Tmall. The company has also confirmed that the base variant of the Vivo X100, which offers 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, will be available for 3,999 Yuan (~$549). In context, the Xiaomi 14 series, which debuted last month in China, also carries the same starting price.
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be the world’s first smartphones to feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset, which is said to offer performance similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The SD8G3-powered Vivo X100 Pro+ will not debut along with the X100 and X100 Pro. Instead, it is expected to break cover in Q1 2024. The Vivo Watch 3, running on the Blue OS, is also set to launch with the X100 and X100 Pro on Nov. 13.
