Vivo X100 series could be first to arrive with Dimensity 9300

Vivo is reportedly working on the Vivo X100 series of camera-focused flagship phones. It will arrive as the successor to the Vivo X90 lineup, which was announced in November 2021 in China. A Chinese tipster has tipped key details about the Vivo X100 lineup.

To recall, the Vivo X90 lineup included three models, such as the Vivo X90, the Vivo X90 Pro, and the Vivo X90 Pro+. The vanilla and Pro model debuted as the first-ever phones powered by the Dimensity 9200 chipset. As per the new leak, the Dimensity 9300 chipset will premiere with the Vivo X100 lineup.

While the tipster has not mentioned it explicitly, it appears that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro models may feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset. The leak states that the X100 will support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Pro model may also offer the same wired and wireless charging capabilities.

The Vivo X100 Pro+ will have a triple camera unit featuring a high-pixel sensor and an improved periscope telephoto camera, claims the tipster. He added that the entire series will have a large-sized curved-edge display and a rear-facing triple camera unit. There is a possibility that the X100 Pro+ may come equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. Probably, the X100 lineup may debut in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Meanwhile, the brand is said to be working on the Vivo S17 series of mid-range phones for the Chinese market. The S17e, S17, and S17 Pro featuring respective chipsets, such as Dimensity 7200, Snapdragon 778G (or 782G), and Dimensity 8200 chipsets are expected to debut in May in China.
