The Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, is soon expected to launch its flagship X100 series in its home market in China, and two smartphone devices are anticipated to have their debut in the series. Rumors are now pointing the launch date to be in next month – on the 17th of November 2023

Here’s what we know.

Vivo X100 Series Rumored Launch Date

A few poster images(likely fan-made) of the upcoming Vivo X100 series have been circulating online, and as mentioned above, are suggesting that the launch of the Vivo X100 series might take place next month on the 17th of November 2023, at 2:30 PM local time.

Speaking of the poster images shared, the smartphones of the series have been portrayed in multiple colors like Black, White, Red, Cyan and Orange, along with a possible rear camera module.

From what we have understood, Vivo hasn’t officially announced the launch date for the series yet, and we had checked the official Weibo handle of the brand, where no updates can be found regarding this launch date. Therefore the authenticity of the poster images are under question, and they are likely to be fan-made posters itself.

However, one thing to add here is that, the rumored launch date slightly aligns with previous updates which stated the launch to be in the third week of November. Also note, the upcoming smartphones of the series – the vanilla X100 and X100 Pro devices, have been certified by the 3C certification authority of China, confirming of an imminent launch.

Regarding the smartphones’ specifications, both the devices are expected to arrive equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, to become the first smartphones to be powered by the processor.

Other expected specifications include an IMX920 primary camera, 5,100 mAh battery, and a 120W wired fast charge support for the vanilla X100 smartphone, whereas the X100 Pro device may have an IMX989 main camera, 5,400 mAh battery, and 100W(maybe 120W) wired and 50W wireless charging features. Both smartphones are also likely to sport 12MP IMX663 ultrawide and 64MP OmniVision periscope telephoto lenses at the rear.
