Vivo X100 series primary camera, battery, charging details leaked
Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X100 series of smartphones by mid-November in China. The lineup will include the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones, and the more powerful X100 Pro+ is said to launch in Q1 2024. Today, reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station leaked the primary camera details of the X100 series. In addition, he also revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of both smartphones.
MediaTek is expected to announce its new flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9300, in November. Several reports have claimed that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be the first phones to come equipped with the new chip. In today’s leak, DCS shared leaked specifications of the first Dimensity 9300, which suggests that he could be talking about the X100 and X100 Pro.
Based on the leak, it can be said that the Vivo X100 will arrive with a Sony IMX920 primary camera and pack a 5,100mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro will be equipped with a Sony IMX989 main snapper and will house a 5,400mAh battery. The Pro model is likely to support 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.
It seems that both phones are equipped with a 12-megapixel IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision periscope telephoto camera.
In related news, Vivo will hold the 2023 Vivo Developer Conference on Nov. 1 in China. Apart from OriginOS 4, the company will confirm details about its self-developed OS, similar to HamronyOS (Huawei) and HyperOS (Xiaomi), and a self-developed AI for mobile platforms.
