Vivo X100S and X100S Pro can be launched alongside Vivo X100 Ultra in April 2024
Vivo recently launched the much-awaited Vivo X100 series in China as the first Dimensity 9300-powered phone at a starting price of 3,999 Yuan. The series broke all the records in Vivo’s history as its pre-reservation orders exceeded 1 million units in China. Even before the launch of the Vivo X100 series, reports were there that the company could launch a flat display version of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro+. Now a new update has come in this regard from DCS named tipster.
As per the Digital Chat Station Vivo can soon launch X100 and X100 Pro in flat-screen variants. These flat-screen variants can come under the name of Vivo X100S and X100S Pro monikers. The tipster further mentioned in the post there won’t be any difference in the specifications of these flat screen variant from X100 and X100 Pro that boasts curved display. Vivo can launch the X100S series along Vivo X100 Ultra in April 2024.
Specifications of Vivo X100
The Vivo X100 smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch wide OLED LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The handset is powered by Dimensity 9300 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
In the camera section, it sports a 50 MP Sony IMX920 VCS main camera with OIS, a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens with a 150-degree field of view, and a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B periscope lens. The front side of the handset sports a 32 MP selfie camera. It runs Android 14 out of the box.
The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Its dimensions are 164.05 x 75.19 x 8.49mm and weighs 206 grams.
