Vivo Y200i 5G launch date confirmed, here’s expected specifications, price

Recently, the upcoming Vivo Y200i 5G was listed in China Telecom’s product library. The listing revealed the design, key specifications, and price of the device. Now, the brand has confirmed that the Y200i 5G will go official on April 20 in the home market. Here’s a look at what to expect from the device.

The Vivo Y200i 5G’s official poster confirms that it will come in black, white, and blue shades. The device has flat edges, a round module housing two cameras, and an LED flash on the back. The device appears to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is scheduled to go on sale on April 27 in China.

As per the China Telecom listing of the device, the Vivo Y200i 5G has a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution, but there is no word on whether it will sport a high refresh rate. It is most likely to run on Origin OS 4, based on Android 14.

For photography, it will feature an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. Under the hood, the device has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip and a massive 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs 199 grams. In addition, it will offer IP64-rated dust and water resistance.

The Y200i 5G will arrive in three options, such as 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. These variants are likely to cost 1,299 CNY (~$180), 1,599 CNY (~$220), and 1,799 CNY (~$250). It will be available in three shades: Glacier White, Starry Night Black, and Haohai Blue.
