The Vivo Y22T appears to be the successor to the Vivo Y21t, which was announced at the beginning of 2022. The Y21t has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch. The screen offers HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 11 with a layer of FunTouch OS 12 on top and comes with a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

The Y21t is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset and 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM. Both variants offer 128 GB of storage and a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.

For selfies, the Vivo Y22t has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device features a 50-megapixel primary camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for depth and macro shots. The phone has a thickness of 8mm and weighs 182 grams.

In related news, a mysterious Vivo phone with a similar V2313A model number has been approved by China’s 3C authority. The listing reveals that it may support 44W fast charging. It is speculated that it could be a different Y-series phone from the company for the Chinese market.
