Vivo Y78 and Vivo V29 Lite Smartphones Spotted on Bluetooth SIG with the Same Model Number

Two Vivo smartphones, the Vivo Y78 and the Vivo V29 Lite have been listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification website with the same model. The Vivo Y78 has already been launched in the Chinese market and the Vivo V29 Lite is awaiting its launch for the global market.

Vivo Y78 and Vivo V29 Lite Smartphones Spotted on Bluetooth SIG

Both the Vivo Y78 and Vivo V29 Lite smartphones, as mentioned, have been listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform with the same model of V2244 and have received the certification with a declaration ID, DO62272. The certification reveals both devices to have Bluetooth support of version 5.1.

The Vivo Y78 smartphone has already made its debut in China silently this month, just like the Vivo Y78+ smartphone which had its launch last month, and the full specifications of the smartphone has been revealed.

The Vivo V29 Lite will be arriving as the first V29 series smartphone, following which the V29 and the V29 Pro, the other smartphones of the series, will have its launch. Vivo’s V29 has already been listed on the Google Play Console Listing and also on the Google Play Supported Devices List, and its key specs have been revealed. The smartphone has also received the GCF certification.

Vivo Y78

The Vivo Y78 is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7020 (6 nm) chipset and operates on the Android 13-based OriginOS 3 custom UI. It is also equipped with the IMG BXM GPU.

For its display, the smartphone features an IPS LCD display panel with a screen size of 6.64 inches and will have a screen resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels. It also has a refresh of 120Hz.

Coming to its cameras, at its rear the smartphone has a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, an 8MP front-facing camera is also offered.

Regarding its battery backup, the smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with a fast charge support of 44W.

Vivo V29 Lite

From its Google Play Console Listing, it has been revealed that the smartphone will arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and will have the Adreno 619 GPU. It will also arrive pre-installed with the Android 13-based operating system.

The smartphone will also be featuring a full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and will have a screen density of 440 DPI.

It will also be backed by a 5000 mAh battery and will support a fast charge feature of upto 44W, just like the Vivo Y78 smartphone.
