Vivo, one of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturers, will be launching another Y-series smartphone soon, and this upcoming device with the moniker “Y79+” has been spotted on the Google Play Console database. The key specifications and the front image of the smartphone have also been revealed via its listing.

Here’s more about it.

Vivo Y79+ Google Play Console Listing

The upcoming Y79+ smartphone from Vivo has appeared on the Google Play Console database with the model number – V2313A, and it is the 12GB RAM variant of the device that has been listed.

Coming to its other revealed specifications, this device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G (SM6375) chipset and will be integrated with the Adreno 619 GPU. It will also have the Android 13 operating system onboard and will be featuring a display screen with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

About the front image, the upcoming smartphone has a curved edge display with quite slim bezels on three sides, along with a slightly thicker chin at the bottom. The display also features a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera. Towards the right, we can also find the volume rocker and the power button.

Interestingly, the Y79+ smartphone bears the same model number as the Y100 5G smartphone that was recently launched in the Chinese market, and the two share the same specifications. This could mean that the upcoming Y79+ smartphone may likely be the rebranded version of the Y100 5G China model. Further confirming the assumption, the front view images of the smartphones are also the same, with the exact design elements.

As the upcoming Y79+ smartphone has made it to the Google Play Console database, the launch of the device will probably not be far, and more updates might be on its way, with which we can confirm more about the device.
