Vivo’s Latest V40 SE 5G Smartphone Announced in the European Market
Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has officially unveiled its V40 SE 5G smartphone in Europe. The latest device looks similar to recently launched Vivo smartphones and comes in two color choices.

Vivo V40 SE 5G – Announced in Europe
The latest Vivo V40 SE 5G smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with a primary clock speed of 2.2 GHz, and runs on the Android 14 based Funtouch OS 14 custom skin. The device is also coupled with an LPDDR4X RAM of 8GB and UFS 2.2 internal storage.
For its display, the device has an E4 AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.67″, resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and 60Hz ~ 120Hz refresh rate support.
A triple camera unit is also featured at its rear, housing 50MP, 8MP, and 2MP camera lenses. For selfies, a 16MP front-facing camera is also present.
Regarding its battery, the smartphone is backed by a decently large 5000 mAh battery which supports a 44W fast charging feature.
Other key specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual band support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB 2.0 connectivity, OTG, in-display fingerprint reader, IP54-rated body, 7.79/7.99 mm thickness, and 185.5/191 gm weight. Various location positioning services and multiple sensors are also part of the device.
The Vivo V40 SE 5G device will be made available in two color choices, and customers will be able to purchase it in Crystal Black and Leather Purple colors.
As suggested above, the V40 SE 5G smartphone shows resemblance to a few recently launched Vivo smartphones such as the Vivo T3 5G, Vivo Y200e 5G, and Vivo Y100 Indonesian variant. All these smartphones have a similar Crystal Black color variant, whereas the Y100 IDN has a color variant similar to the Leather Purple color as well.
