William Lu announced as the General Manager of Xiaomi; will be unveiling the upcoming Xiaomi smartphones starting with Xiaomi 14 Ultra
The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi recently entered the automotive industry with the introduction of its first electric vehicles Xiaomi SU7 and SU7 Max. The company is said to soon make these electric vehicles available for domestic use. Yesterday Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun mentioned that the company is currently preparing for the domestic launch and therefore he will be focusing on the EV business for now.

The CEO also announced that William Lu will be playing the role of General Manager of the Xiaomi brand and will be unveiling the future Xiaomi smartphones- starting with Xiaomi 14 Ultra. William Lu has also shared his excitement on this official announcement.

As per previous reports, Xiaomi 14 Ultra is tipped to make its debut by the end of this month while it is said to be made available for purchase in the month of March.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Specifications (expected)
The device is expected to debut with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. If we talk about the camera section, it could feature a Sony LYT-900 50MP camera with a One-inch sensor as its main camera. It might come with a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with a 120mm focal length. Its quad camera system could also feature a 50MP IMX8-series ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. It might sport a curved-edge OLED display with a 2k screen resolution. The device is likely to be backed by a 5180 mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging and possibly 80W wireless charging.
