Xiaomi 13 Ultra to offer peripherals, exclusive functions for enhanced photography
In December 2022, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro flagship phones. Both flagship devices have also been released on the global market. The company is expected to now shift its focus on its next flagship phone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Reports have claimed that it will debut in the Chinese market in April. Being an “Ultra”-branded model, it is expected to offer a top-notch photography experience. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station shared some new information about the device.
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s leather-backed variant will not be lighter than the plain leather edition of the Find X6 series. Last week, the tipster revealed that the Find X6 Pro’s leather version weighs 218 grams.
The new leak reveals that the engineering unit of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes in red and white. The source also said that the flagship phone will come with some peripherals and have special features that will make taking photos even better.
The tipster did not share any information on the peripherals that will be available for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. In November 2022, the company showcased a concept phone that allows users to attach a full-sized Leica camera lens to the camera unit of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra’s prototype edition. It remains to be seen whether the company offers a similar peripheral for buyers of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
