Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 6 series bag 3C certification, April launch likely
The 3C authority of China has approved three new Xiaomi products, which include a smartphone and two tablets. It looks like the 3C may have approved the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra flagship phone and the Xiaomi Pad 6 series of tablets.
The mysterious Xiaomi phone with model number 2304FPN6DC could be the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It appears that the device will come with a 90W charger with the model number MDY-14-EC. It will be the company’s first phone to support 90W charging.
The two tablets that 3C has approved have model numbers 23043RP34C and 23046RP50C. It appears that these could be the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. In 3C’s database, the 23043RP34C can be seen with a 33W charger, whereas the 23046RP50C can be seen with a 67W charger.
Reports have claimed that Xiaomi may hold a launch event in April in China to announce the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Pad 6 series. It is speculated that the 13 Ultra may release in the global market by May. Some of its rumoured features include an E6 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 90W charging and 50W wireless charging.
As far as tablets are concerned, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to release in markets like China, India, and the global market. However, the Pad 6 Pro may remain exclusive to the Chinese market. These tablets are said to be powered by Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets, respectively.
