There are reports suggesting that the Xiaomi 14 series is currently being developed. According to initial rumours, the company intends to release it in China in November or December of this year. Although the series is anticipated to consist of various models, it is probable that the initial releases will be the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. It is speculated that the Pro model may arrive in flat and curved display variants.
In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station mentioned that the proofing solution designed for the 2.5D large flat screen is combined with a middle frame that has a right-angle shape. He seems to be talking about the flat display variant of the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
He added that as for the 3D large, curved screen solution, which appears to be the Xiaomi 14 Pro with a curved-edge display, it features remarkably slim borders on all four sides, with a bottom bezel measuring just 1mm in thickness. He further said that the back panel of the device is also slightly curved.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A 5,000mAh battery that might support 90W or 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging will most likely power it.
The device is expected to retain the 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel camera sensor as its primary snapper. An ultra-wide lens and a periscope zoom camera will be joining it. The rest of its details are under wraps.
