Xiaomi 14 Pro Tipped to Feature a Titanium Frame Body: Launch Expected by Late this Year

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi is said to launch its Xiaomi 14 series smartphones as early as in November and the devices are to hit the global markets by early next year. Two smartphones are expected to have their launch first in the series – the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro devices and along with the plenty of features that have already been tipped and leaked, another information about one of the upcoming smartphones has been revealed.

This update comes from a tipster(@i ice universe) on the Chinese microblogging platform, Weibo who has tipped that the much-awaited Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone will be the very first Android smartphone to feature a titanium frame body. Apple is also using titanium frames to make their next iPhone devices and the Xiaomi 14 Pro will follow the brand in incorporating the frame in its smartphone body.

More and more updates are coming pointing out that the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series smartphones is approaching and if rumors are true, we’ll be able to see the debut of the smartphones in three or four months.

Here are the expected specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone that have been revealed from rumors and leaks.

The upcoming Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and as per what is now known, will likely be having curved and flat display variants. A render of the smartphone that was leaked also reveals the quad-curved display of the smartphone with narrow bezels.

Other reports also suggest the smartphone supports 4K video recording with the front-facing camera along with USB 3.2 support. A triple camera unit with a periscope zoom lens is also expected.

As far as the battery is concerned, we expect the device to pack a 5000 mAh battery with a 120W wired fast charge support and a 50W wireless fast charge support.

Just to add, the Xiaomi 14 series devices had also made an appearance on the IMEI database and have been certified by the European EEC certification authority.
