Xiaomi 14 spotted on BIS certification website: India launch confirmed

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has recently officially launched the Xiaomi 14 series in its home country. The series made its debut with two smartphones- Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. After making its way into the Chinese market, seems like the devices will be soon making their debut in the global market.

Earlier Xiaomi 14 smartphone was spotted on the IMDA certification website indicating that the smartphone might arrive soon in global markets. Now after the IMDA certification, Xiaomi 14 has been spotted on the BIS certification website with model number 23127PN0CG.

Other than the model number the listing does not reveal much about the device but it does confirm that Xiaomi 14 will be having its launch in India soon. Since the device has already made its debut in China, the specifications are already known us, let’s take a look.

Xiaomi 14: Specifications

Xiaomi 14 smartphone comes with a 6.36 inch wide 1.5K TCL CSOT C8 OLED LTPO 12bit display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Corning Glass Victus. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It runs HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.

The camera section includes a triple camera setup on the rear that features a 50 MP Light Hunter 900 OIS primary camera sensor with a 50 MP JN1 ultrawide camera and a 50 MP telephoto JN1 camera. The front side of the smartphone boasts a 32 MP OV32B selfie camera. The smartphone is backed by a 4610 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging through a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and 50 W wireless charging.

Additionally, it comes in an IP68-rated body and also features WiFi 7, Bluetooth version 5.4, IR blaster, dual stereo speakers, NFC support, and an X-axis linear motor for haptics. For security, it also comes with in display fingerprint sensor.
