Xiaomi 15 Series Tipped To Come With 50MP Periscope Lens, Telephoto Lens and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Chipset
Xiaomi is reportedly working on its next flagship series Xiaomi 15 that can be launched later this year in the market as per the various leaks and reports. This series is expected to be the first to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset followed by OnePlus and iQOO. Now a new update has come about this series from known tipster DCS who wrote on Weibo that a new 50MP periscope camera is under test for the Xiaomi 15 series. He also mentions the high-magnification telephoto lens for the series.
About the processor, he says that it can be powered by the SM8750 which is the codename for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset that reaffirms the previous claim. We got to see something similar last year when Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 14 series with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset just after a day of its announcement at the Snapdragon Summit. As per Qualcomm CMO Don McGuire, the chipset will be unveiled in October at Snapdragon Summit 2024.
On this basis, it won’t be wrong to say that we can get to see the Xiaomi 15 series in October month of this year multiple times stated in reports. This new processor has its buzz in the tech town and that’s about its new custom-made CPU Oryon core from Qualcomm.
