Xiaomi Civi 4 again spotted on Google Play Console, revealing to be a tweaked version of Civi 4 Pro
Just a few days back, we spotted the moniker “Xiaomi Civi 4” on the Google Play Console listing with the model number “24053PY09C” and the code name “chenfeng.” This is the same model number as the Civi 4 Pro, which was recently released in China. However, earlier when we spotted the Civi 4, it didn’t reveal the CPU and GPU details. But now we do have those details, and it looks like it will be a tweaked version of the Civi 4 Pro.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Google Play Console
In our earlier findings, we had already spotted the main key difference between the Pro and the vanilla variant. As per the previous sighting, it was revealed that Civi 4 will come with a single punch-hole layout with curved edges. However, the Civi 4 Pro was launched with a pill-shaped cutout housing a dual front-facing camera. Also, the listing didn’t reveal the CPU cores at that time but showed the model number of the CPU QTI SM8635 corresponding to Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Since the CPU details were hidden, we had hinted that it may come with some tweaks.
Now, carrying forward to today, the CPU cores have been revealed in the database which shows 1 Core clocked at 3 GHz and 4 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz. Everything up to this point remains the same, but the last 3 cores are clocked at 1.8 GHz, while the Pro variant came with 2 GHz. Right now, we don’t have the Geekbench database scores to differentiate how big of a difference it will make. However, it is confirmed now that Civi 4 will come with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno 735 (1000 MHz) GPU. The screen size of both is also the same, which is 1236×2750 with a screen density of 480 (xxhdpi).
The rest of the information remains unchanged, with 11.8 – 11.9 GB of RAM likely to be marketed as 12GB of RAM, and it will ship with Android 14 out of the box.
Other updates
Additionally, Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is also going to make its debut in the Indian market, but with a different moniker. It was revealed that Xiaomi will launch the Civi 4 Pro in the Indian market as Xiaomi 14 Civi. The rest of the information is still under wraps, and hopefully, we may hear something from Xiaomi in the coming days about this upcoming smartphone.
