Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 12R in China with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset
Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi Note 12R in China powered by Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. This smartphone was recently spotted on the China Mobile Database that revealed some of the key specs including its chipset and its price. Now that it has been launched full specifications are available to us.
Features
This smartphone comes with a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Its display has got a punch hole cutout for 5MP front camera and a dual camera setup on the rear side featuring a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens and a 2MP macro camera.
This smartphone is launched in three variants of RAM and storage in China. It is offered in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage.
It packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging which is quite slow as per the market trend. And this smartphone runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Price and availability
Redmi Note 12R has been launched in Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Sky Fantasy colors. And it’s base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 999, while 6GB RAM with 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,099.
The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,499 while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at CNY 1,799.
