Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 confirmed to officially launch on 14 August, 2023, 360 degree video released

Reportedly, the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is nearing the launch of its next foldable device- Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 in China. This upcoming device will be making its debut this month only as confirmed and has been spotted on various certification platforms like- MIIT and 3C. The company released the first teaser of this foldable device last month confirming a few details about the smartphone.

Now the smartphone brand has teased the design of this foldable device yet again and from the teaser it is revealed that the foldable device will be featuring quad cameras as previously revealed with Leica branding.

The design teased by the company is similar to the recently leaked image. As per reports, this quad camera setup will consist of Sony IMX800 primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto sensor with 3.2x optical zoom, and a periscope telephoto camera with up to 10x optical zoom. The company has also today officially confirmed that the foldable device will be arriving in China on 14 August 2023.

The company has also shared the official video teaser giving a 360-degree view of this upcoming foldable device.

Xiaomi Fold 3: Specifications (expected)

Apart from the camera specifications, the upcoming foldable device is expected to feature an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED QHD+ display and a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ cover display. Both the display will offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has earlier been revealed to be equipped with a new waterdrop-style hinge.

The device might run on Android 13 OS and could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that is said to be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage. It is believed to be backed by a 4800mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Although detailed information regarding the specs and pricing details will be confirmed after the official launch of this foldable device in China on 14 August 2023.
