Xiaomi’s Upcoming Mix Fold 4 Foldable Smartphone Tipped to Arrive in India this Year

The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, Xiaomi, is reportedly in the works to unveil two more anticipated smartphone devices – one being the third smartphone of the flagship 14 series, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and the other, the successor to the 2023-released Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi’s next Mix Fold 4.

A new update has arrived pointing out that just like the 14 Ultra device, the Mix Fold 4 foldable will also be possibly making its way to the Indian market as well. In related news, some of the details of the Mix Fold 4 device have also been shared.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 – Coming to India?

This update comes from a tipster(@saaaanjjjuuu) on the Twitter/X platform, who has revealed the exciting news that apart from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 device will also be unveiled for Indian customers. To add, recently the Xiaomi 14 Ultra had received the BIS certification from India, which has already confirmed the Indian launch of the device. The Mix Fold 4 Indian launch is suggested to take place later this year (probably between June – August 2024, as tipped earlier).

The same tipster had previously also shared that the global models of the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip 4 bearing the model numbers – “2405CPX3DG” and “2311BPN23G” respectively were spotted on the IMEI database and the expected key specifications of the Mix Fold 4 device were shared too.

Speaking of the specifications shared, the device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, probably will run on the HyperOS Fold based on the Android 14 operating system, might feature 8+ inch inner and 6.5+ inch cover LTPO 120Hz displays, and is said to sport a 50MP quad camera unit at the rear.
