OPPO, one of the leading Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics manufacturer, has unveiled its latest Air Glass 3 XR glasses. This device is however still in its prototype stage and will probably not be made available soon.

OPPO Air Glass 3 XR Unveiled – Revealed Features
The third generation OPPO Air Glass XR device consists of a magnesium-lithium alloy metal for its frame and is pointed out to be 50 grams heavier when compared to the previous generation. The brand also plans on using custom optical lenses on it. Adding more, the Air Glass 3 XR also have a display within its lenses. It will support a peak eye brightness rate of 1000 nits and is capable of delivering real-time information to its users.
As per what has been revealed, the device will be able to play certain selected songs, make calls, navigate, browse images, display details regarding health and other fitness information, translate, and also do a few other tasks. The AndesGPT AI Platform has also been integrated on to the glasses, and this will help its users to enable the AI voice assistant.
Regarding its compatibility, it will only be compatible with OPPO’s smartphone devices that runs on the ColorOS 13 custom skin based on the Android 13 operating system, or the ColorOS 14 custom skin that is based on the latest Android 14 operating system.
About its availability, the device is still currently in its prototype stage and it is probably going to take some time until the final version becomes available for purchase.
