Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Wi-Fi Only Model Certified by Singapore’s IMDA Authority

Samsung’s upcoming rugged version tablet after the previous 2022 Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, the Galaxy Tab Active 5, has made it to the IMDA certification platform of Singapore. This is the Wi-Fi only model that has been listed on the database.

The Wi-Fi only model of the Galaxy Tab Active 5 carrying the model number – “SM-X300” had received the KTL, Safety Korea, and FCC certifications before, and is now being certified by one more global certification body. On the IMDA certification platform, the tablet has been categorized under the low-power device section, and its listing points that it is a tablet supporting Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. No other details have been revealed via the database.

Early this month, the upcoming Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G model was also certified by the TDRA authority, and it is the TDRA certification which confirmed its moniker. Also to add, apart from the model numbers “SM-X300″(Wi-Fi only model) and “SM-X306B”(5G model), the device also bears the model numbers – “SM-X308B”, “SM-X306N”, and “SM-X308U” as per the KTL listing.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablet is revealed to be powered by the brand’s own Exynos 1380 5G chipset, and is to run on the latest Android 14 based operating system. The device is also confirmed to have a 6GB RAM variant, 128GB internal storage option, and an expandable storage support of up to 64GB with the help of a microSD card. It is also pointed out to have thick bezels around its display, along with three physical buttons and an S-Pen. The device might also come in two colors – Black and Grey.
