Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Active 5 (Pro) Receives KTL and Safety Korea Certifications: Battery, Charging Spec, and Real Life Image Revealed

Following the debut of the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro back in August 2022, Samsung is planning to launch a new tablet device with a rugged design in its Galaxy Tab Active series. The upcoming device has now been certified by the KTL and Safety Korea certification authorities, revealing some of its specs and the real-life image of the tablet.

Here’s more about it.

Galaxy Tab Active 5 (Pro) – KTL and Safety Korea Certifications

The Galaxy Tab Active 5 (Pro) tablet has made its appearance on the KTL certification platform with model numbers SM-X306B, SM-X308B, SM-X306N, SM-X308U, & SM-X300. The battery capacity of the device has been revealed to be 4900 mAh, and the device will be supporting a 15W fast charge feature. It is certified with the certificate number KR-KTL-11778.

Coming to its Safety Korea certification, the device has been listed with the model number SM-X300 and has received the certification with the certificate number YU10256-23006. As mentioned, the real-life image of the tablet has also been revealed via the database. It points out that the upcoming device has thick bezels with three physical buttons placed in a similar way to the brand’s Galaxy Tab Active 3, unlike the previous Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro.

Samsung’s upcoming tablet was previously spotted on the FCC certification platform and also on the Geekbench database, but initially, the device was assumed to be the Galaxy Tab Active 5, and confusion remains regarding the correct moniker.

On the FCC certification platform, both the 5G(SM-X306B) and Wi-Fi(SM-X300) models are said to be listed, and on the Geekbench database, the device attained single-core and multi-core scores of 1022 points and 2815 points, respectively. Some of the other suggested specifications are the Exynos 1380 5G processor(s5e8835), Android 14, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 64GB expandable storage, S-Pen support, and two color variants(Black and Grey).

Considering that the previous Galaxy Tab Active series tablet was called the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, there is a great chance that this upcoming device might be called the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro itself. We’ll be able to confirm it with more future updates.
