Oppo Watch 4 spotted on IMDA certification website; key specifications tipped
Update: The model number OWWE231 was earlier said to be of Oppo Watch 4 but recently it was revealed through SIRIM website that the moniker name of OWWE231 is Oppo Watch 4X.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has recently unveiled its Oppo Watch 4 Pro in August which was said to arrive with some iterative upgrades over its predecessor. After the launch of this smartwatch, the brand seems to gearing up for the launch of another smartwatch- the Oppo Watch 4
Recently an Oppo smartwatch was spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification website with model number OWWE231.
It is believed that this is the Oppo Watch 4 spotted on the database. Recently OnePlus Watch 2 was spotted on the BIS website with model number OPWWE231 which is similar to the model number spotted above with only the difference in their initials. Earlier it was tipped that the OPWWE231 model number would be for the OnePlus Watch 4 but due to its appearance on the BIS certification website and as per tipster Mukul Sharma the model number would be for the OnePlus Watch 2. Therefore it is expected that OnePlus Watch 2 could be the rebranded version of the upcoming Oppo Watch 4.
Oppo Watch 4: Specifications (expected)
The upcoming smartwatch is believed to arrive with a round AMOLED display that offers a 466×466 pixel screen resolution. It might be powered by Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 Wearable Platform SoC just like the Pro model launched earlier. Other than this the watch is said to be equipped with BES 2700 co-processor.
The Chinese variant of the watch is supposed to run on ColorOS for Watch 6.0 based on Android 11 while the global variant is said to run on the latest Wear OS. The smartwatch could be seen in Black and White color variants. Users might also get to see various health and fitness tracking features.
Apart from this, the Chinese variant of this upcoming smartwatch could arrive with additional features like ColorOS 14 Sound, RTOS WeChat & WeChat Pay, RTOS CJK fonts, and more. Meanwhile both the Chinese and global variants are expected to support eSIM, barometer, ECG monitoring, colorful Always-on display, and Fist Clench gestures.
