Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Series Battery Specs: Check it Out

Samsung is expected to unveil its latest Galaxy Watch 6 series devices at the brand’s Unpacked Event scheduled to take place in the month of July 2023 and the upcoming devices are to have improved battery capacity along with many other added features.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 series is to include the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm, and Galaxy Watch 6 44mm, and unlike the previous Watch 5 series, will be having the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Previous reports have already revealed its battery specs and the upcoming devices compared to its predecessors will be arriving with improved battery capacities.

For the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm smartwatch, the device as per its listing on various certifications will come equipped with a 300 mAh battery whereas the 44mm variant of the Galaxy Watch 6 will be having a 425 mAh battery backup. Compared to its predecessors, the 44mm variant of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 4 only had a battery backup of 410 mAh and 361 mAh respectively. On the other hand, the 40mm variant of the Galaxy Watch 5 had a battery of 284 mAh while the Galaxy Watch 4 40mm only had a battery capacity of 247 mAh.

Regarding the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, the device is likely to arrive with the same 425 mAh battery used in the 44mm variant of the Galaxy Watch 6, and compared to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic which had a battery capacity of 361 mAh, is also expected to bring an improved battery backup. However, it should also be noted that the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro offered a battery backup of 590 mAh to its users.

Both the Wi-Fi only and LTE + Wi-Fi variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm and 44mm smartwatches have received the FCC certification, as per which the devices are going to support a 25W wired fast charge feature along with wireless charging capabilities.

Speaking about its other specifications, the Galaxy Watch 6 series devices are expected to be powered by the brand’s own Exynos W980 chipset and will be featuring bigger displays with curved frames and thinner bezels. Previously the 5K renders of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic were shared online which revealed its thick rotating bezels to us.
