Here’s more about it.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Series Devices Receive the GCF Certification
Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy Watch 6 series devices at the company’s Unpacked Event scheduled to take place next month, in July, and ahead of it, the Galaxy Watch 6 series devices have made its way to the GCF(Global Certification Forum) certification website. With its appearance on the GCF certification platform, it has been revealed that the Galaxy Watch 6 series will have four device variants.
The Galaxy Watch 6 series devices have appeared on the certification platform with model numbers, SM-R935F, SM-R955F, SM-R945F, and SM-R965F. The model number SM-R935F and SM-R945F is likely to correspond to the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm and 44mm variants, while the model numbers SM-R955F and SM-R965F are said to be the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 42mm and 46mm variants. It should be noted that this is the first time we are coming across such information stating that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be available in two variants.

Other than the GCF certification, the LTE + Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi-only models of the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm and 44mm variants have received the FCC certification as well.
As far as now known, the Galaxy Watch 6 series devices are expected to arrive equipped with the brand’s own Exynos W980 chipset and will be featuring larger display screens. The 40mm and 44mm variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 are also confirmed to be backed by improved batteries of 300 mAh and 425 mAh respectively compared to its predecessors. The devices will also be supporting a 25W wired fast charge feature and will have wireless charging capabilities.
Regarding the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, as mentioned earlier, this is the first time we are coming across two variants of the smartwatch. Previously it was said that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is likely to pack the same 425 mAh battery used in the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm variant but now as per the tweet shared above, it is being said that the 42mm variant of the device might be equipped with a 300 mAh battery. It is doubtful whether the 46mm variant of the smartwatch will have the 425 mAh battery as the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm had a battery backup of 590 mAh. We’ll have to wait until more updates arrive to confirm anything more about its battery specs.
In the meantime check out the 5K renders of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic shared previously online featuring physically rotatable thick bezels.
